Synopsis
Shuichi belongs to the tennis club. There are only five members in total, but he enjoys his school life with them. One day, the situation around him starts changing when Shuichi gets injured in an accident. While Ai, one of the members, takes a good care of him, Mio, his younger sister, stays grumpy. In such an ugly situation, a big accident happens which changes the whole situation...

Review:
As one of the few male members in his school's tennis club, Shuuichi has really set himself up for success. Unfortunately for him, his skills seem to be slipping lately and everyone's starting to notice. Of course, his inability to concentrate may have something to do with all the lovely ladies he keeps playing with. I mean, how can a man be expected to focus when you have all these short skirts that demand to be peeked under? If that wasn’t bad enough, all the girls in the tennis club want his body for their own perverse desires! Oh what’s a boy to do?
Well he’s going to be getting more tail than he could have ever hoped for that’s what. With two main girls vying for his affections, they’re really putting themselves out there to meet his sexual desires. The first girl is the loli-esque Mio who likes to act as though Shuuichi is her older brother (though it’s made clear he isn’t). She’s quite the naughty one, always talking dirty and whatnot, which makes her just adorable to watch as she teases and embarrasses him. Saeki, on the other hand, is much more shy and reserved about the whole situation, but that doesn’t stop her slow decent in sexual deviancy in an effort to win over Shuuichi for herself.
This creates quite the sticky situation for poor Shuuichi as each of these girls keep sex battling one another for a place in his heart. Whether it’s on the tennis court, in a forest or simply in their bedrooms, there’s no stopping these girls' lustful urges. As the two episodes progress however, each of them notices that they're not really getting anywhere in vying for Shuuichi's affections, so they decide to change tactics and simply make things easier for everyone by joining forces. Now I may be biased, but I think they made the right decision for all our sakes!
With all that "sexy fun time" going on there's really not much else Fault!! has time to focus on though. While the tennis aspect is an integral backdrop to the story, it serves largely no purpose in the grander scheme of things. This gives it a very similar feel to Sora no Iro, Mizu no Iro, which had a largely ignored school swim club setting, and with which it also shares almost the same type of animation style and stunning character designs. Mio is definitely a personal favorite of mine, with her loli look and naughty mouth (especially with that black outfit she has on in the first scene), but that’s not to say Saeki isn’t quite the looker herself. Unfortunately for us it’s the sex scenes that don’t quite live up to expectations, even though they had all the trappings of success. The main problem is that there’s no variety in the sex scenes whatsoever, with the same basic position being repeated over and over for minutes on end. It’s only during the final threesome that they decide to mix it up a bit, but by then the dullness of the others has already shown through.
Fault!! is a high quality hentai title that's chock full of erotic fun to be sure, I just wish the sex scenes had lived up to the greatness they could have achieved.
